Today was hilariously windy. At one point, my easel didn’t just get blown over, but the painting itself got ripped out of the easel. after I chased it down and strapped it back in, A runaway horse–saddled and all–came tearing by, almost running over a jogger and her two dogs.

Funny what you can experience while standing outside in the same spot for a few hours.

As for the painting. I feel like, in this one, I’m somewhat stuck between my familiar very representative color palette and an emergent, more neutral, and potentially sophisticated palette. Time will tell I guess.
